The Spiegeltent (Dutch for “Mirrortent”) is the ultimate venue for intimate performances. Adorned with thousands of handcrafted mirrors, red velvet booths and vintage drapes, the simple act of walking in the doors will transport you to a time of glitz and glamour.

Parking

There is no on-site parking at The Spiegeltent.

Limited street parking is available around Salamanca Place and Battery Point (check signage for time restrictions)

The closest major parking options are:

  • Salamanca Square Car Park – 8-minute walk
  • Hobart Council Car Park (Argyle St or Dunn Pl) – ~12–15 minute walk

About the event

What can I expect from the show? Expect a heady cocktail of circus, live music and comedy. The international cast include extraordinary circus and cabaret talent from all over the world in a show that’s packed with stunning aerials, spectacular stunts and a pumping soundtrack that will leave you buzzing for days!
Where is the event located? The Spiegeltent is located at Salamanca Wharf, 30 Castray Esplanade, Battery Point TAS 7004.
Does the event take place in an indoor or outdoor venue? The experience takes place indoors at The Spiegeltent. However, the Spiegeltent Bar, open before and after the show, is located outdoors.
How long does the show last? La Ronde runs for 90 minutes, including a short interval.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase? Yes. The Spiegeltent Bar opens one hour before showtime.
Is there parking available? There is no on-site parking at The Spiegeltent. We recommend using public transport or ride-share services for your journey.

About tickets

Where can I get tickets?
Can I purchase tickets at the door? Tickets can be purchased on the door up to 30 minutes after the start of show time. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets via the Fever App (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store) or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person? Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket? You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do? You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the "Tickets" section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed? Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your event. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. About access to the event

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the show to give yourself time to grab a drink and soak up the atmosphere before being seated. The Spiegeltent Bar opens 60 minutes before showtime.

Late arrivals may be held at the door and admitted at the discretion of venue staff to avoid disrupting the performance.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed? Service animals are welcome at The Spiegeltent. Please note the show includes loud sounds and theatrical effects, which may not be suitable for all animals. If you plan to attend with a service animal, click here to contact us in advance so we can support your visit.
Is the venue accessible?

The Spiegeltent site is wheelchair accessible. Seating in the General Admission area inside The Spiegeltent is step free.

Do you offer carer tickets?

Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. Please contact us here with proof of a companion card. Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (based on availability).

Please keep in mind that you will have to show the regular ticket with this carer ticket when entering the venue.
Is the event accessible for deaf/visually impaired people? La Ronde is a visual and aural performance. While we currently do not offer interpretation (e.g. Auslan) or audio description services, we encourage you to please click here to contact us in advance so we can provide advice specific to your needs.
Will there be strobe lights? La Ronde features strobe lighting and theatrical effects as part of the immersive experience. If you're sensitive to strobe lights, please take this into consideration before attending.
Will toilet facilities be available on site? Yes, toilets are available onsite. Please ask venue staff for directions.
Can I take photos or record the event?

Photography and video are permitted, but flash photography is strictly prohibited.

Please note: filming and photography are not allowed during scenes featuring mild nudity. Please follow directions given by the venue staff at all times.
Is there a Lost & Found? If you've lost something, check with venue staff during the event. If you're unable to ask in person, click here to contact us.
Is cloakroom service available? No, cloakroom service is not offered. Please only bring items you can comfortably carry with you.
Is there an age requirement? Yes. La Ronde is strictly 15+ due to mild nudity and adult themes.
What are the prohibited items at the event? The following items are not permitted:

  • External food and drink
  • Audio recording devices
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Flammable materials
  • Torches or lasers
